An independent read on UK-licensed online casinos
Payline House is a comparison site covering online casinos and betting brands licensed to operate in Great Britain. We are a publisher, not a gambling business: we do not accept deposits, hold player funds, run games, or take bets ourselves. Every account you open through a link on this site is opened directly with that operator, under that operator's own terms.
What we actually do
Our core job is straightforward. We take a shortlist of British-facing operators, check each one against the UK Gambling Commission's public register, and drop anything we cannot confirm is currently authorised for the products it offers. What survives that check gets written up in plain terms: which activities the licence covers, how the account and support experience holds together, and how readable the terms actually are. We update the page when a licence status changes or when we re-check the register, and we date every page so you can see how current it is.
What we don't do
We don't invent bonus terms, wagering requirements or deposit limits — if we can't verify a figure directly against an operator's own current terms, we leave it out. We don't publish fake testimonials, review counts or awards. We don't pretend to be a government body, a regulator, or connected in any way to the Gambling Commission, GAMSTOP, GamCare or GambleAware; we simply link to them because they matter more than anything we could add ourselves.
How the business side works
Running the site costs time and money, and we cover that mainly through affiliate commission: when a reader clicks through to an operator and later registers, we may be paid a fee. That relationship is explained in full on our affiliate disclosure page. It shapes which operators we choose to spend time reviewing, but it does not override the licensing check that comes first — an operator that fails that check is not listed, commission or no commission.
Who's behind this
Payline House is run as a small independent publishing project focused specifically on the UK market. You can reach the team directly through our contact page; we read and reply to every message that comes through it.
